Shk. Nadia K. Aldoseri was ranked by Forbes as one of the most powerful Arab women in 2014. She was appointed to run Saudi Arabia’s largest scrap-metal business before the age of 40. She started her career as an area manager for the cosmetic firm Avon, armed with powers of persuasion. She was promoted to national manager within few years. In 2008, she joined Al Sale Eastern Company with a small operation with $6 million, within 5 years she expanded the company by 500%. Worth an estimated of $500 million today.
Shk. Nadia was the first woman to become a finalist of the Middle East Entrepreneur of the Year awards in 2008 by Ernst &Young. She has received a special recognition from the former US President Bill Clinton and is a distinctive & active CGI member. She has said that “life doesn’t offer success on silver plates” for women, “they’ve got to work hard and make their own achievements.”
