Dr. Fawaz Al-Alamy

Dr. Fawaz Al Alamy has had a distinguished career as an academic, as an advisor to the Saudi government and as an international trade expert for the World Trade Organization (WTO). He formerly held the post of Deputy Minister of Commerce and Industry and Chief Technical Trade Negotiator in the Saudi Council of Ministers, where he successfully steered the Saudi Arabian accession into the WTO in 2005. In 2008 he was selected by the WTO as one of six international trade experts to develop new accession rules and regulations.
