Biography

Elliott Abrams is Senior Fellow for Middle Eastern Studies at the Council on Foreign Relations in Washington, D.C. He served as an Assistant Secretary of State in the Reagan administration and as a Deputy National Security Advisor in the George W. Bush administration, and as chairman of the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom. He is a member of the Board of the U.S. National Endowment for Democracy.
