High-level Exclusive Policy Circles

The policy circles are uniquely designed to gauge the intellectual input of Arab and international leaders on transformations that the region is undergoing. The policy circles are off-the-record and aim at:

• Reconfiguring the Arab region and its global space beyond political economy and security threats
• Developing innovative and constructive  policy options
• Proposing actionable ideas and recommendations for policy makers
• Enlightening and engaging the public in the proposed solutions

Conversations With Policy Makers

 The conversations with Heads of State and Government, Ministers and Thought Leaders will be held in an Open Plenary. These conversations will go beyond the political economy and security threats in the region to explore what lies ahead for reconfiguring the Arab region and its global space .There will be 3 plenaries  dedicated for these conversations.

Session

Day-two of the summit will include on-the-record fast moving, dynamic, and inspiring series of sessions to discuss issues dealing with the future of the Arab region such as:

• Smart Cities in the Arab region – are they Exclusive or Inclusive?
• Celebrating our Innovators – Listening Carefully to Their Dreams
• Arab Women Influencers in the Global Arena
• Conversations with Policy Makers

Closing Plenary: The Beirut Institute Abu Dhabi Declaration

The Beirut Institute Declaration will relay policy options and recommendations generated during the Summit to decision makers in the region and beyond.
